Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ (/leh/ /ˈə̝wgɪ/ [scared; afraid; reluctant] [support]) is a subtropical Town located in Ami̽schyö Zone, Dewlǐq District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ was founded by Eh-47d 'David' Tsêmtco, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ has a yearly average temperature of 34°C (93°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 39°C (102°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 30°C (86°F). Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ receives an average of 244 cm/y (96 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 18768 m (18625 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1251, by Eh-47d 'David' Tsêmtco. The establishment of Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious cobblestone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Astonishigly, the monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Looking around Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ you immediately realise that the locals are looking back at you. All of them. Everywhere you look somone is staring back at you analytically, looking over every inch of you, your gear, and your companions. As you get close to people, their hands move closer to their belt knife, or dagger. You may want to watch where you go and what you say...

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ's grid is powered by mana accumulators.

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

In Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ there is always just enough rain to be annoying.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century was ravaged by a deadly sickness. was the epicenter of the disaster, but Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ suffered the most. Wæm Leh Ăwgǐ lost 194 people, 150 livestock, and 40 buildings in the disaster.. The disaster is spoken of in hushed whispers as the Wrath of Grief.
